Print screens of final contents page

I opened one of the pictures from my initial photoshoot into photoshop.

I clicked images, opened the adjustments tab and clicked levels. I changed the red, blue and green levels to 0.8 in order to darken the picture.

I clicked the select box tool and collected the picture that I thought would look good for my contents page.

I opened a new page in photoshop in order to edit my image.

I pasted the picture into the middle of the page and clicked the edit option, opened the transform tab and clicked scale

I held down the shift key and dragged the edges so that my picture filled the whole page. The date was in the corner of my picture so I had to be careful not to have that in the picture.

I clicked the select box tool and left a border 2mm thick all around the picture. I right clicked and clicked select inverse in order to delete the part of the image to create the border.

Then I opened a new A4 photoshop screen. I then put a black box on the page in order to create a black background. Next I put another box on top of that and made sure the pink that I used was the same as the rest of my front cover.

I right clicked the pink box and clicked the blending options. I then picked outer glow and chose a shade of pink that was darker than the pink for the box, I adjusted the glow so that it looked like it was blending into the background

I then inserted the picture that I created and positioned it so that it takes up most of the contents page since the picture is of the main story

I then rotated the picture slightly and went into blending options to give the picture a drop shadow. I repeated the above steps for the rest of my pictures.
I then went into the custom shape tool in the tool box down the side and created a splash on the contents page to put on the pictures in order to signify what pages the pictures corrispond to.
I then added in the headline at the top of the page.
I added more boxes on the bottom of the page in order to have my editors word and my subscription tab. I also added some effects to the headline
I then added the text for my 'word from the editor' and the 'subscription' tab and added the page numbers on the pictures which correspond to the pages within my contents page.
I then added the different coloured boxes for the background of the different sections and the page titles and tilted the picture of the front cover.
